Richard is originally from Wales, but has lived in Switzerland since 2005. He currently teaches a Ashtanga Yoga (half primary series) class which is lead in English. His teaching method is based on showing humility, integrity, sincerity and an openness to learn to develop one’s practice through a deeper understanding of yoga. Not simply the asana’s practiced in class, but what you take with you away from the mat. Most importantly, classes are always intended to be fun!
He has over eleven years of Yoga practice and completed a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training under the guidance of Paul Dallaghan in Thailand in 2012 in addition to an initial 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training completed in Nepal in 2006.
He is also a qualified Pilates teacher having completed his training in Perth, Australia with Karin Gurtner of art of motion in 2009. He is qualified in Basic Anatomy, Pilates Essentials and Pilates Flow.
